GOLD VERMIL
Gold Vermeil is an alloy of gold & sterling silver with a minimum content of 10k. The word "Vermeil" comes from French and means "gilded". It means that a layer of 18 or 24 karat gold is electroplated onto the base metal.
Electroplating is a surface and layering technique in which silver jewelry is gold-plated using electrolytes. The result is a high-quality product that lasts longer than simple gold plating.
